This Guy

This guy, I don't know what I would do without him. Wednesday was a great day. It was the last day of my work week, and I was welcomed home with this special surprise!

Friday, was not such a good day. Friday night I went to bed early I had the chills, and I could tell that I was getting sick. Saturday was horrible. I had a horrible migraine, the chills still and a fever. On top of not feeling very well I had to try and entertain my two little ones. The entertaining part I did not do a very good job of. Luckily the kids have a couch in their room, so I brought my pillow and blanket and dozed in and out of sleep. I must have done a lot of dozing, because when I finally woke fully awake, I could not see the floor in their room. I am pretty sure the kids emptied their entire closet filled with toys. Using the little energy I had, I got them a quick snack, took some medicine then put a movie on for them hoping that would district them from more messes. Luckily by that time Hunter was ready for a nap. Ari on the other hand had no intentions of napping or sitting still. I think she finally calmed down when I put Curious George on for her. I was able to take another nap after that. I woke up a while later to a giant stack of Blu-Rays and DVDs. She was so proud of herself for making such big towers. I was not so happy. Especially because anyone who knows my husband knows he has slight OCD when it comes to organizing our movies, and all of his many shoes. They were alphabetized before a naughty someone got ahold of them, and I definitely did not have the energy to put them back in order. My poor husband, after working a 13 hour shift was welcomed with a disaster in every room of our apartment, me sick on the couch and children going crazy. I am so lucky to have him though. He stopped by the store on his way home to get me some soup and sprite. He fed me, gave me some medicine, put the kids to bed and cleaned the apartment before he even went to bed. Luckily I was feeling a little better on Sunday. Ryan continued to take care of me and the kids throughout the day. He even spoiled me and got me more shoes!
